Hi, I'm Nicola Welten, an expressionist artist based in Tauranga, New Zealand.
I love creating vibrant, uplifting paintings based on my personal experiences. My artwork brings nature into your living or work spaces in a joyful and exuberant way.

Upcoming shows in 2025
In September I will have work at Tauranga Society of Artists Expo where I am a finalist in the Jensen Supreme Award and October will see me heading south to the Queenstown Art Show. This will be held at Te Pūāhuru Queenstown Events Centre from 17th - 19th October. In November I will have my studio open to the public during the BOP Open Studios art trail event. I love catching up with art lovers and fellow artists at these fabulous events and it's the perfect opportunity for you to view my work up close and in detail!
